Sohodojo is an independent, non-profit applied research and development laboratory with an associated education mission to support solo and family-based microenterprise and small business entrepreneurs in rural and distressed urban communities.

As an IRS-approved 501(C)(3) organization, your contributions to Sohodojo are U.S. tax deductible. Your support is vital to our success. Individual financial contributions as well as foundation and corporate content and research sponsorships are welcome.

There are a number of ways that you can support us that are as near as your browser and as convenient as making a purchase at your favorite on-line retailer.

You can donate directly to Sohodojo through Network for Good or JustGive.org. Participation in these ePhilanthropy programs is enabled by our participation in GuideStar, the on-line national registry for U.S. non-profit organizations.

Alternatively, you may already participate in one or more donor-directed funds that have partnered with GuideStar to ease the selection and evaluation for donors' charitable giving. You can donate to Sohodojo through such quality ePhilanthropy organizations as The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, The Northern Trust Charitable Giving Program, The Schwab Fund for Charitable Giving, The T. We're dedicated to the applied R&D agenda at Sohodojo. But we're not so absorbed in the doing of this work that we don't take the time to freely reflect and share our work in the form of self-published articles, experience reports, book reviews, commentary... whatever needs saying from a 'Small is Good', Portfolio Life point of view.

You don't have to be a free agent entrepreneur, social activist or Open Source developer collaborating with us on our research agenda to support the work of Sohodojo. We have premiere logo placement positions that are available to strategic content partners who want to support the development and extension of content areas at Sohodojo.

You can identify sponsorable content areas within Sohodojo by the image at left that occupies the Content Sponsor placement position on each unsponsored page of our site. Some positions are strategic single pages; others are multi-page areas within our site.
