Let the Games Begin.
1. The Freemarket Rules.
If you have seen your magazine store recently the number of New
Economy Magazines continues to grow, with their web sites, e-
mails, etc. We like The Industry Standard and Business2.0
to name a few.
Now we are faced with "Subpart C--Nonrecognition of Gain on
Rollover of Empowerment Zone [Enterprise Community] Investments"
contained in proposed IRC Section 1397B, in the pending Distressed
Communities legislation.
Could this be a major economic force to create Enterprise Zone
Businesses, as defined under IRC Section 1397B, to the 31
Empowerment Zones and 95 Enterprise Communities? Check out the
following list of the 54 Enterprise Communities near or west of
the Mississippi or check out individual addresses on our Web Site and think about forming a new
business and then selling out after 12 months without paying any
capital gains tax.
When does the 12 months begin? We suggest that a formal business
entity be created, a web site is put up, and a bank account be
opened to start the clock running. Let the Games Begin.
