We're scrambling to add opinion polling, reader comments and suggest-a-link features to these presentations. We really want to know what you are thinking, too! In the meantime, you are welcome to send us your comments in an email.
This is the closest thing we've written to a 'What we believe' statement. Just as there is matter and anti-matter, we believe there is an untapped 'Small (and Accurate) is Good' dimension to the New Economy that is a natural and necessary complement to the excesses of the 'Bigger and Faster' basis of the dot-com Gold Rush.
In the not-too-distant future, venture capitalists will balance their portfolios by adding investments in entrepreneurial free agents (AKA, talented independent professionals, nanocorps, professional change insurgents) along with their conventional corporate plays.
There's also a TechSIG undercurrent in this presentation about role/actor executable business modeling at it pertains to our proposed exploratory learning environment, The Nanocorp Game.)
This is primarily a TechSIG design note, but non-tech readers are invited to wade in. As an example of a role/actor scenario pattern, we look at 'The A-Team and the Sandbox'. This example pattern demonstrates how role/actor executable business models enable nanocorp replication (AKA New Economy "job creation").
We've annotated these slide presentations with links to books and on-line resources to extend the slide content of these presentations.
Don't forget that your click-through purchases of books help support Sohodojo. We appreciate your support and we applaud your reading appetite! (Did we mention we now have multi-vendor links at our RIBS Joint? We give you a choice in where you buy our recommended books?)
